Electromagnetic Mass Anomaly ∗
Electromagnetic masses of neutral K * (892) may be larger than one of charged K * (892). It is unusual and is called K *-EM-mass anomaly. We review the studies on this issue, and point out that K *-mass splitting can be measured in BES accurately.

The constraints of chiral symmetry at low energy, QCD at high energy and experimental data in between are used in the dispersion relation. We review in the present article the conjecture of electromagnetic mass by Lorentz. The philosophical perspectives and historical accounts of this idea are described, especially, in the light of Einstein's special relativistic formula E = mc 2.
